Hebrew 11 is the chapter we like to read because it tells of different people who act in faith believing that God will do what He promised. They planted small seeds and hope for big results.
In the digital age, the seeds of faith can be sown with a click, swipe, or tap. Digital technologies brought many changes to our society. I think that children and the younger generation are very exposed to all of these trends.
Though the CEF Digital ministry we want to build and provide different digital tools so children can find good Gospel materials online. Developing Wondersurf, Bible Correspondence Course Online or Unite resources we can’t know the results, but we do pray that the seed of faith will come to the hearts of little ones, so they start to search for God. We don’t bring children to a mobile device, they are already there.
We need to be intentional and provide good, quality materials, so they are influenced by God’s Word. They have access to bad quality materials. We need to offer an alternative.
Mobile Applications: Unite Kids is excellent resource for children to read devotionals and play different activities. I would love to see this app in many European languages. So far, we have this only in English.
Video Animations: Unite TV is a platform with more than 1,000 videos. Some of them are created by CEF and other videos are uploaded though collaboration with different organizations. The goal for this year is to create 35 new animated videos.
Radio Materials: Unite Radio… Audio stories and lessons are a great resource for children to develop creativity. While children listen, they develop their imagination, and this is very important.
Websites: Wondersurf is a blessing for more than 100,000 registered children accounts who read and explore God’s word in 23 languages. Our prayer is that we reach even more children this year. We need your prayers for wisdom to know how to develop and promote this platform.
