CEF Armenia has a Goal to publish literature in 2025-2026
We have several books and booklets for children that we intend to reprint. We plan to print 10,000 copies of each book. For the first time, we intend to print the Gospel of John in 10,000 copies in Armenian. We have already obtained official permission from the Bible Society to use their best Armenian translation. This is our initial plan; our ultimate goal is to be able to print and distribute 200,000 copies of the Gospel of John with illustrations by CEF to the children of Armenia.
The best celebration ever, Things you ought to know, Everything with prayer, Guidelines for the Christian family book by Roy Harrison, 20 stories for children, those are the books and booklets that we fervently desire to have in our possession within the next two years.
Our next plan is to print Wonder Devotional Book volumes 1-6 in full color, 10,000 copies of each.
One of our employees is actively visiting impoverished children and utilizing the wordless book as an evangelistic tool. Upon completing her visits, she distributes “Meet the King,” “Things You Ought to Know,” and “Do You Wonder Why” booklets to the children. Each time she visits them, the children eagerly await receiving any book or booklet from her. It is not advisable to visit children with empty hands, especially considering the uncertainty surrounding her future visits. During one of her visits, she gave WDB 1 (180 days) to one of the children. She was surprised when she saw the child again and discovered that the child had been diligently reading each lesson and writing down the lessons in her notebook. Now, she has a handwritten version of WDB 1 in her library. This is encouraging to see the children using the devotional book as a study and learning tool.
During a conference, a speaker posed a question that was answered in one of Sam Doherty’s books, which the participants had received several years ago. It was delightful to see one of the teachers provide an answer that matched the explanation in the book, which she had read years ago.
In the digital world, we still need to publish books. Your prayers and financial support will enable us to bless by providing literature to the children and children workers of Armenia.
