Easter is coming! And in many countries the popular greeting will be heard by many:
“Christ has risen!”
And the reply comes back
“He is risen indeed!”
Many will say these words without knowing the meaning behind them and still others will not even know that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures …” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
But what about the curtain tore in two, what about the significance that the death and ressurection means for the you and me?
This Easter, CEF Europe is praying that God will give us the opportunity to print and distribute 500,000 Gospel booklets to explain the signifcance of the death and resurrenction.
Already 5 languages are ready with translation. Children will be able to read the Gospel message in their own language!
One friend who loves to distribution Gospel literature said,
“Every time I place a Gospel or a booklet in the hands of a child or teenager, I feel as though I’m offerting a treasure that could change the course of their lives forever.”
Are you able to help through your prayers and financial support. We estimate that we will need €30,000 to print the wonderful Gospel booklets!
During a Christmas program, during the teaching about the Lord Jesus and the death on the cross, a child exclaimed, “That really is proof of love!”
Pray for children in Europe to be amazed at the love of God shown at the cross!
