“And when He saw them, He had compassion on them ….”
There are over 150 million children in Europe and Central Asia. Children who need to hear of the Saviour and what He has done for them. Who will tell them? Who will go?
Over 600 CEF workers have dedicated their lives to taking the Gospel message to children through direct ministries such as camps, 5 Day Clubs and Good News Clubs or by training others to take the Gospel. During 2020, many new internet ministry initiatives started enabling children who don’t attend face to face meetings to hear the Gospel.
CEF believes in ministry partnership. Each CEF worker is encouraged to have a team of believers who are praying for and financially supporting them so that the ministry can continue. This team ministry is a great blessing.
However due to the economical or religious situation in some countries across Europe and Central Asia, not all of the CEF team have the full amount needed for their ministry and so we are presenting this project to those who perhaps do not know the workers individually but who have a heart for seeing children reached with the Gospel across Europe.
The SHORTFALL project aims to provide this needed shortfall for the ministry needs of 300 CEF workers across Europe. The annual project cost is €1,300,000
Hudson Taylor said, “Depend on it. God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.”
