I greet everyone on behalf of CEF team of Kyrgyzstan. There is very little left for the most anticipated celebration of the year and we are looking forward to starting our Christmas meetings with children
CEF has a wonderful project, Christmas Together, in which we mobilize all our forces to hold as many Christmas clubs with children as possible.
On our own, we can only cover a small part, but if trained volunteers and Sunday school teachers join us, the figure will increase tenfold. This year, the theme of the holiday will be “Joy to the World”. We plan to bring God’s joy to all regions of our country and find as many volunteers as possible, we will provide them with training and necessary literature and they in turn, will organise a Christmas holiday, where they will tell children about the Saviour born for them!
We need your help!
To implement this plan, we need your help. Primarily we need your prayer support. Please pray for the people whom God will choose to hold the Christmas holidays for the children in the neighborhood, that God bless our team in preparing and conducting, for finances that are needed to have the project, for protection of all who will participate – children and adults.
Every year it becomes more and more difficult to carry out open evangelization, especially in villages, Muslims become less tolerant of Christmas and the New Year (for example, in one village they burned the Christmas tree installed by the mayor’s office three times).
As mentioned above, we also need finances to conduct trainings. We plan to visit different regions of the country, in some it is safe to get only by plane (now there is a high probability of avalanches in the highlands, but even in the summer the road is quite dangerous there). Travel costs will take €350 (ticket costs, short accommodation and gasoline). Recently, our projector, that has served as faith and truth for 15 years, has broken down. It happened at the camp. We know from the experience that it’s easier to perceive information when slides are displayed on the big screen. We’ve to find another one. A new projector costs €350.
Additionally, we have included travel expenses €300 in the project for the rest of our team to carry out Christmas Clubs.
If 50 people will donate €20, we’ll be able bring Good News to all the regions of our country!
