I’m sure you have thrown pebbles or stones into the sea or a lake and watched as the ripples extended and expanded outwards – the bigger the stone, the bigger the ‘ripple effect!’

The teaching Children Effectively level 1 course is one of our ‘big stones’ when it comes to training in CEF. This 30 hour intensive training programme equips teachers and volunteers to share the Gospel with children more effectively within the context of a Good News Club (neighbourhood Bible club).

A CEF worker is limited to the number of children they can reach on a weekly basis – there is only so much one person can do. But what if that CEF worker trained others through the TCE 1 programme? This would cause a ripple effect – perhaps even a wave! More volunteers trained = more Good News Clubs started = more children reached with the Gospel.

Will you help us to cause the ripple effect in Spain?

To do this we first of all need to train our CEF workers in Spain to teach the TCE 1 programme. This means they need to attend an Instructor level training to be equipped to teach TCE 1. Our workers have an opportunity to do this in Romania later in the year where such a course is being organised!
