We were asked if it was worth my while to take the Gospel to a school just before Christmas. Our answer was of course, “yes”. Perhaps the headteacher was thinking of the costs involved, or the effort and time needed? I am not sure. However, when we think of how much it means to find open doors in schools and kindergartens, to hold a special club for children and to preach the Gospel, distances and kilometres don’t matter.
We thank God for the privilege of serving in CEF Hungary for the last 4 years. Tibi is working in the literature department of Hungary and is the literature coordinator in Central Europe and the admin of the teachkids.eur website. Angela is working full-time as a local worker. We praise the Lord that in Hungary we have the opportunity to teach religion class in primary schools and kindergartens. In this view we are working to have contact with religion teachers, to offer good literature for them and also evangelistic booklets for children.
Why do I need a ministry car?
I would like to introduce the work of CEF to every evangelical church in the county and help the local ministry in churches, especially to give good teaching materials for them. I also work to build good relationships with children workers and religion teachers in Csongrád-Csanád County, because in our country it’s important to know the teachers personally. I want to take the Gospel message to many schools and kindergartens where God opens the door to do so.
To do this I need to travel to villages and towns, so I need a vehicle in order to get easily in every place. I also need to go to conferences, teachers’ and pastors’ meetings, training courses, 5-day clubs, camps and literature distribution. It is also important to have partnerships with other Christian organisations, in order to help each other to get the Gospel to many more children in Hungary.
Total cost: €12,700
The CEF board has approved the need for €12,700. So we are praying that God will provide the necessary finances for this project. We believe that He can provide it through His people.
